The family
One control family, three ways to build it in — standard, compact, and control-plus-limiter:
Standard operating control. The general-purpose capillary thermostat for electric heating equipment.
16A/20A · 50–400°C · SPST/SPDT · automatic reset
Compact operating control. The same ratings in a smaller body for tight equipment layouts.
Compact · 16A/20A · 50–400°C · 100,000 cycles
Manual-reset safety limiter. The protective companion to the AG16-K control — trips on over-temperature and stays open until reset.
Manual reset · limiter companion to the AG16-K
Standard-format control with a waterproof version for wet environments.
16A · 50–380°C · single-pole
Replacement cross-reference
Replacing an existing control? Send us the original part number — or a photo of its rating label — and we match the mounting, ratings, temperature range and capillary length of the original part before quoting.
Customization & samples
Temperature range, capillary length, bulb size, knob format and dial printing are made to order; development for mechanical customization is free of charge. Free samples of the AG16-K are available for bench testing — you only cover the courier, and the freight is credited against your first order. Trial orders start from 200 pcs, with models mixed in one shipment.
Applications
- Commercial deep fryers and griddles
- Bakery and convection ovens
- Electric water heaters and boilers
- Food warmers and holding cabinets
FAQ
What is the difference between a capillary thermostat and a bimetal thermostat?
A capillary thermostat senses temperature remotely through a liquid-filled bulb and capillary tube — ideal when the control point is away from the sensing point, e.g. inside a fryer tank. A bimetal thermostat senses at its own mounting location.
Can I get custom temperature ranges or capillary lengths?
Yes. As an OEM manufacturer, we configure setpoint ranges, capillary length, bulb size, and knob format to your equipment.
What is the mechanical life of the AG16-K?
100,000 cycles minimum under rated load, tested in-house.
