Termoregolatori Campini Corel of Mariano Comense, Italy, has built thermostats for over 60 years, and its TY95 capillary family is the control line behind countless professional ovens. This page maps the Campini numbers our customers send us most often to their verified V.Crown equivalents, and sets out the checks that make a cross-reference safe.

How to read the original part number
TY95 is the family, not a single part: the letter after it is the contact form — A is SPST-NC, B is SPDT, C is SPST-NO — and the range is calibrated per variant to order, so a TY95 is ordered as a range (for example 101–185°C, GEV 391060) rather than as a fixed catalogue number. The family envelope is −35 to +320°C; do not read that envelope as the range of any single variant. H marks the manual-reset limiter with positive safety on capillary breakage (TY95HS is the same limiter without the fixed bush), S the manual-reset limiter, and TS95H20 an industrial failsafe limiter.
TY95 — single-pole control thermostats
These are adjustable liquid-filled capillary controls with double insulation, 16A class, built to EN 60730-2-9 for professional ovens. Every verified variant below sits inside the AG16-K envelope, so the mapping is by function and range, with the capillary and bulb made to the original’s dimensions.

| Original part | Original specification | V.Crown equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Campini TY95 (A / B / C) | Control · adjustable · 1-pole · A SPST-NC / B SPDT / C SPST-NO · 16(3)A/250V NC, 6(1)A/250V NO · family envelope −35–+320°C, variants calibrated to order · EN 60730-2-9 · T150 · hysteresis 2–7K · 100,000 cycles | AG16-K |
| Campini TY95 101–185°C (GEV 391060) | Control · adjustable 101–185°C · 1-pole 1NC · 16(3)A/250V (dealer lists 20A — the manufacturer rating applies) · bulb Ø6×75mm · capillary 1450mm (480mm insulated) · shaft 6×4.6mm×23mm, 270° · fits Cookmax, MBM | AG16-K |
The AG16-K capillary thermostat is built to the same envelope — 50–400°C, 16A/20A at 110V/250V, SPST/SPDT contacts, automatic reset, 100,000-cycle mechanical life — with the capillary and bulb made to the original’s dimensions and the shaft to match the existing knob. TY95 variants whose range starts below 50°C do not map: the AG16-K starts at 50°C.
TY95H, TY95S and TS95H20 — safety limiters (manual reset)
These are fixed-trip safety devices: they do nothing until the control fails, then cut the circuit and stay open until a technician resets them by hand. Campini publishes no list of fixed trip values for the TY95H and TY95S — the trip point is calibrated to order — so send us the trip point from the rating label and we confirm it in writing. On the V.Crown side the trip point is factory-set to the original’s value.

| Original part | Original specification | V.Crown equivalent |
|---|---|---|
| Campini TY95H | Safety limiter · manual reset · positive safety on capillary breakage · trip point fixed to order · working range 0–320°C · 1-pole · 16(3)A/250V NC, 0.5A/250V NO · T150 · EN 60730-2-9 | AG16-S (trip point to order) |
| Campini TY95S | Safety limiter · manual reset · double insulation · trip point fixed to order · working range 0–320°C · 1-pole · 16(3)A/250V · T150 · EN 60730-2-9 · UL / ENEC | AG16-S (trip point to order) |
| Campini TS95H20 | Safety limiter · manual reset + failsafe · trip point fixed to order · working range 70–320°C · 1-pole · 16(3)A/250V NC · T90 · capillary 1500mm · industrial series | AG16-S (trip point to order) |
The AG16-S manual-reset safety limiter covers these single-pole types — 16A/20A at 110V/250V, manual reset, standard trip points 380/400/430°C with other trip points factory-set to order. Never substitute a manual-reset limiter for an automatic-reset one to make a cross-reference fit.
Outside the scope of these tables
No verified two- or three-pole Campini capillary thermostat exists in public sources — the TY95 family is single-pole throughout, and the three-pole oven thermostats in dealer catalogues are E.G.O. 55.34 parts, not Campini — so the AG32 family has no Campini counterpart here. No Campini automatic-reset capillary limiter was found either, so the VL-Z has no Campini counterpart. The TY96 oven power module is a mechatronic device with no capillary, the TY30S is a stem thermostat for water heaters, the TY53 is bimetallic, and the TS industrial series (TS9510/9520 and similar, topping out at 120°C) serves boilers and HVAC, not ovens. Send us the number and we confirm the match in writing; a part outside these tables is not a failed match, it is an unconfirmed one.

The five checks before you order
- Function and reset type — a TY95 control is adjustable and cycles; the TY95H, TY95S and TS95H20 are fixed-trip and manual reset. Manual and automatic reset are different safety behaviours, not options.
- Range or trip point — the original’s range must sit inside the equivalent’s range (AG16-K 50–400°C). TY95 variants below 50°C do not map. For limiters the trip point is factory-set to the original’s value — read it from the rating label, because Campini publishes no trip-point list for these families.
- Poles and current — every Campini part in these tables is single-pole, 16(3)A NC. A single-pole replacement cannot switch a multi-pole load, and the dealer-stated 20A on the 101–185°C variant is not the manufacturer rating — the official 16(3)A applies.
- Capillary length and probe — the verified 101–185°C variant carries a 1450mm capillary with a Ø6×75mm bulb; other TY95 variants are built to order, so read the length and probe size from the rating label. Too short will not reach the well; the probe must seat correctly in the existing thermowell.
- Mounting and head temperature — the TY95 head is rated T150 and the body mounts on a 35×28mm footprint. The replacement must fit the same bracket and panel cut-out, take the same knob, and its head must sit within its temperature rating in the mounting position.
Send us the part number you are replacing — or a photo of its rating label — and we run all five checks in writing before quoting, so the equivalent arrives as a fit, not a project.
Certification: ask for numbers, then verify them
The AG16-S is TÜV certified and listed on our certifications page; the AG16-K’s approvals are confirmed for the exact model before ordering. When an alternative supplier quotes a safety device, ask for the file number — not a logo — and check it before the part goes into certified equipment.
Samples and trial orders
Free samples of the AG16-K and the AG16-S are available for bench testing — you only cover the courier, and the freight is credited against your first order. Trial orders start from 200 pcs, with models mixed in one shipment, and mechanical customization (range, trip point, capillary length, bulb, dial printing) is developed free of charge. Send us the Campini number you currently buy and we will map it.
